Seven for all Mankind was launched in Los Angeles, California in the Fall of 2000, a leading trend-setter for its modern fashion forward washes and designs. They began by designing women's jeans and later introduced a men's jeans line in the Fall of 2002. They also launched a children's collection in the Fall of 2005 and added another product line in the Fall of 2007, an accessories collection which includes handbags and footwear for men and women.

The company was founded by Michael Glasser and Jerome Dahan then they brought in Peter Koral of L'Koral for financial backing. In December 2002, Dahan and Glasser left the company and filed suit against Koral. They won the case in 2004 and was awarded $56 million for their 50% take in the company and their profits for 2001 and 2002.


Seven for all Mankind brand has strong International recognition and is particularly well known among leading celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Heidi Klum, Liv Tyler, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Garner.
